This is a Texas Commission on Law Enforcement (TCOLE)elective, professional development, or risk management course offered in an online training course format for Texas Peace Officers, Jailers, and Telecommunicators.
Your response to an active shooter situation is always critical. You may
be the only officer on duty, the first responder of a dispatched team,
or selected as an active response team member. This course of study
presents several important aspects relating to responding to an active
shooter scenario. A real case study of a past active shooter situation
is presented in this course. We also present first responder,
individual, and team tactics and other important safety skills.
